Title

Animals Awake (A New Dawn) as a composition is an attempt to combine both orchestral instruments and electronic synthesizers in a coherent fashion. The opening to the piece uses a piano motif that dominates the overall structure of the composition. As the piece progresses the introduction of choir voices increase the sonic state, adding a sense of fullness to the overall state of the piece. The central point of the piece sees the sonic perception increase further suggesting modulation, but never actually altering the key. The result of this decision leaves an overall musical perception of a composition that is telling a story rather that acting as a song. The ideas attached to this track have also been developed further in a mini DVD-Video titled Memories. The final mix Dirty Dawn Mix deconstructs the original ideas into a eight minute electro acoustic approach, that keeps very much within the boundaries of the Single Version Recorded and produced by N.Binley.
