Beagle 2 (Search For!)
Title
On the 25th December 2003, Prof C. Pillinger’s Beagle 2 landed (or at least that was the plan) on the surface of Mars in search of previous or developing signs of life. Unfortunately the module failed to send out its signal , however as Prof Pillinger pointed out to the waiting media ‘all was not lost’, as a further chance was available to contact the module at the start of the New Year. The feelings generated while watching this scenario unfold led me to compose a track that reflects those thoughts, the track is also dedicated to Prof Colin Pillinger.
