Bass the Dance
Title
The title of this piece is derived from two samples used in a final Stereo Mix; Beat Dis by Bomb The Bass & Shut Up and Dance. The aims of this piece was to recreate my own nostalgic and perceived collective thought of the era of underground electronic dance between 1989 and 1992. Although the timeline between 1989 and 1992 is a time I have lived through, for this mix I underwent the task of making CD copies of my tape collection (covering all this period). The result is a modern Dance track that has a clear era theme attached to it.
